Music Video of The Day: "Perfection" by Super Junior M

I think this song is sooooooo freaking cool. Like, seriously. Super Junior M is some of the only C-Pop that I really like. And for reason. Their music is so catchy and they are all so attractive. Plus, I just love Henry. ^_^
Anyway, back to the song, it's so up-front and in-your-face and the dark atmosphere just makes all that much cooler. I can't wait to listen to their whole mini album, after all, it came out today.

I'm sorry I haven't posted in such a long time... I haven't had that much time to get on the computer, so I haven't had the chance to update in a while. I hope you're not mad. I've never had a blog before, so it seems like a big responsibility and I think I'm going to be taking things a bit slower for now. Dalmatian: 1st mini album review

So, for the past few days, since Monday(when the mini album was released...), I've been listening to Dalmatian's new mini album NONSTOP. Literally. XD
It's sooooooooo good! I knew it would be. That's why I was so looking forward to it. The 2 title songs, "Lover Cop" and "That Man Opposed" are super catchy and TOTALLY adorable! The second they come on, I've got a gigantic smile on my face! It's impossible not to smile while listening to them. The cute English phrases in the songs only lend to the love. "Lover Cop" starts out with a nice beat and the chanting "Get you hand up in the air" followed by the cute phrase "Love lover lover cop, I'mma always be on top." It gets you right into the song. And "That Man Opposed" is even more grabbing. The song immediately starts with "Don't wanna be lonely, I wanna just fall in love" followed by some strong notes on "Woah yeah, I need you girl." Those 2 songs are probably my favorites on the album.
But "Lost in Love", the third song is in a close tie. This song is quite a different style. The electronic beat and sounds in the song are interesting, and the moment the chorus of the song starts, you're just blown away. There aren't a lot of male singers in boybands that can sing lovely high notes, but let me just say, the high notes in the chorus of "Lost in Love" are GORGEOUS. They immediately made me love the song.
Next on the album comes "Really really", which takes a bit of a slower pace while still maintaining the cute theme the boys are going for. It starts out with the English phrase, "Can I get some love, oh my girl? Can I give you all my love?" Which pull you in, and I have to say, I don't usually like featured artists, but the female singer featured in this song, Sohyun, really adds a nice touch with her soft words "You know that I'm a good girl, a really good girl, you really really love a good, good girl". I really like this song overall.
"Real Eyes" is another song that has a change of style and catches your ears because it's so interesting. It has a laid-back, almost jazzy feel to it, and the song begins with soft spoken words between the members. This song to me is absolutely adorable. The chorus of "Real eyes, realize, always be my baby" is so catchy and I love Jisu's high notes in the last chorus. He's really good at those, isn't he? Another great song from the boys.
And the last song on the album, "Homerun", keeps the cute theme going on. The upbeat music and the chanting at the beginning and end of the song are great points in this song. Though it may not be as grabbing or interesting as the other songs, it's still much fun to listen to, and I love it a lot.
I was also really glad to see that Round 1 was included as a bonus on the album... Though Round 1 might just be one of the most ridiculous songs I've ever heard, I happen to have a soft spot for it... It's so cute and stupidly catchy that I can't help loving it.

So like I've already said, this album is seriously amazing. I'd give it 10/10(ha ha, I'm so biased). If you haven't listened to it yet, you really should. It looks like Dalmatian will definitely be added to my list of favorite boybands... XD
Oh, and I finally know all the members! Yes! Drama is my favorite. X3 but Youngwon and Jisu are both really cute. I hope that Dalmatian can gain recognition and become popular, because they totally deserve to, since they are so talented. DALMATIAN FIGHTING!!

Dream High (spoilers?)

So, I've become SERIOUSLY obsessed with Dream High. Like... SERIOUSLY. I haven't been able to stop watching it. I watched the first episode on Friday, and the second one, and then I watched a few more Saturday and then I watched all the way to the 11th episode on Sunday. I was sad that I had to wait for the next episodes to come out, but thankfully, it was only 2 days, since episode 12 came out Monday and episode 13 came out yesterday, so I watched both today.
I SWEAR. That show is so amazing. I love watching the characters develop... At first, I kind of disliked Hyemi because she was so mean, but as soon as she realized that, and she became a better person, I started really liking her. And the one character who I've hated throughout the show, Baekhee, has finally redeemed herself, too... She said that was sorry that she cheated and if she had to, she would start from the beginning again and work as hard as she could to be better. Though, the end of the 13th episode confused me... Was she about to commit suicide???
And on that topic, what was it that happened with Jingook and her? Why did he beat up the president of the company? And why won't he tell anyone about it? I know it has to do with Baekhee because she acts so guilty... So it must have to do with the company letting her go, maybe? Or something like that... Grrr! I just wanna know now! This show is so suspenseful!
Aaaaaaaaanway, my favorite character in the show is deeeeefinitely Jason. He is soo cute. For some reason, to me, he seems kind of like the perfect guy. He's attractive, he can sing, he's kind... Haha. A guy like him should exist at my school. Well, him and Pilsook crack me up. They are such an adorable couple!! I can't wait for them to finally get together (Which will hopefully be soon). ^_^
Speaking of couples, I really hope Hyemi ends up with Jingook in the end. I mean, I love Samdong, and I feel really bad for him with his hearing and all, but his relationship with Hyemi seems more like a brother/sister kind of relationship... Her and Jingook make such a better couple. I really love them together... The part where Hyemi was congratulating him and then they were both pinching each other's cheeks... SO CUTE!!
Actually, I really like most of the characters, even if Jason is my favorite. Like I said, Pilsook is soooooo adorable! I love her. And I love Jingook and Samdong. They're both such good guys. Hyemi totally grew on me, and I love how kind she is now. Teacher Kang and Teacher Shi are really funny, and so is Teacher yang (haha JYP XD). Most of the characters are just so likable. That's another reason why I love this show... ^_^

I can't wait for the end of the show... Only 2 more weeks! I wish the next episodes were coming out right now! So, anyway, I'm done ranting for now. Maybe I'll rant some more next week when the 14th and 15th episodes come out.

A bit Late...

So, I did mean to blog a lot today. And then I got distracted... The reason? Well, first I was looking at pictures of bands... I was looking at B2ST and F.CUZ and TEEN TOP, so I didn't even notice the time passing. And then, me and my sister were watching Kimi ni Todoke and Dream High... So, for that, I'm truly sorry. But I'll post as much as I can now, until I go to bed! >.<

I'm really sorry I haven't been posting much in the past few days... I've been so busy and thanks to missing a day of school because of the stomach flu, I have tons of school work to make up... I'm really sorry. The good news is that I have Wednesday off of school, so I'll have more time to post tons of news and videos tomorrow and Wednesday! So look forward to it~
I can't wait to geek about Dalmatian's new mini album (WHICH IS SERIOUSLY AMAZING, BY THE WAY) and Dream High (I've been so obsessively watching it... XD)

TEEN TOP Supa Luv Choreography

I really want to learn this dance... So bad. They look so cool... I'm jealous. ^_^
I don't have much coordination though... But I want to get better. Maybe I'll start trying to learn it. Well, once I feel 100% better(still feeling a little weak from having the flu)... It really is awesome choreography, though.
I love all of their hairstyles... If I hadn't already made my hair like Niel's and CAP's, I would want all of their hair. Speaking of CAP, I had a dream the other that he was my best friend. Random, ha ha (BUT AWESOME).
Anyway, I love watching TEEN TOP. They're so much fun and soooo hot. Not to mention talented... That's what makes them so lovable. And of course, they're personalities are lovable. ^_^
And if you watch Niel, everytime he jumps, his shirt flies up a little... Kekeke... I do believe that's an adorable Niel belly. ♥

Music Video of the Day 2: "Beautiful" by B2ST

This video is just so adorable. ESPECIALLY YOSEOB. He is so my B2ST bias... XD
Anyway, this song is perfect(possibly my favorite B2ST song ever) and the video is so much fun to watch... Junhyung looks HOT. Hyunseung looks really cute too. But I can't figure out what his part in this video is... Because Doojoon is the DJ, Dongwoon, Yoseob, and Junhyung are the main dance team, and Gikwang is the rival dancer and new student at their school... So who is Hyunseung? I think that the random dancer at the beginning kind of looks like him, but... >.<
I wish they would release the second part already. But oh yeah. They're debuting in Japan... No time for that. >_>

Music Video of the Day 1: "BTD(Before The Dawn)" by INFINITE

I just freaking love this song. I mean, the video is pretty strange and I hate the fact they're fighting each other, but if you completely ignore the video and just listen to the song, IT'S SO EPIC. The whole song is ridiculously catchy and all of their voices sound absolutely fantastic(especially if you watch a live perf O_O). The choreography is pretty awesome, too. INFINITE is one of those rookie boybands who isn't that well known yet, but their music is just so amazing that they deserve to be. If you like this song, you should definitely check out the rest of their songs.

"Super Junior’s Leeteuk has revealed that his pinky finger was injured during the recording of MBC Every1’s 'Super Junior’s Foresight'.
On February 1st, the members took part in a tile breaking game, but unfortunately for Leeteuk, his hand slipped midway, leading to a fracture on his pinky finger.
On the 11th, the singer alerted fans to his condition by tweeting, 'I only found out about the finger fracture two days after the recording~ I thought it was bearable~ keke They should’ve given me a smaller finger cast from the start~ It’s really clean, I like it a lot. Bone, please stick fast! keke'
A representative of SM Entertainment further added, 'His hand slipped while recording for a show, and after experiencing pain, he went to the hospital.  There’s a slight fracture in his pinky finger, so he received the appropriate treatment. It will take about six weeks for the bone to completely heal, and he will remain in a cast until then.'
Fans commented, 'Working too hard can also become a problem,' and 'I like the program, but please think of your body first!'"

Random: Park Jung Min gets scared by a fan

This video is hilarious. At a recent fan signing event, a fan ran up to the table in a scary mask and gave park Jung Min a great shock. His reaction is seriously priceless... And after that, he jokingly refuses to sign her autograph. That lucky fan must have been wearing the mask as the perfect way to be remembered by her idol... Plus, she got to spend extra time at the table. ^_^
Is it just me, though, or is Park Jung Min absolutely gorgeous? He's so ridiculously attractive... I mean, just, WOW. O_O

And I always assumed that everyone had cell phones these days... Apparently, the girl's of Secret don't have(and haven't had) cell phones at all. You would think that would be a problem, but really (and I know from experience), when you don't have a cell phone for a long time, you really get used to it. In fact, not having a cell phone takes away any need you would have for one, and quoting the members, “We still don’t have cell phones. At this point, we’ve all forgotten what cell phones are even used for.",  “I honestly do really want one, but there’s nothing uncomfortable about not having one. And since all of us equally don’t have one, there aren’t any big problems.” 
But not to worry. The director of TS Entertainment stated, “Depending on your viewpoint, the rule can seem forceful from the company’s end, but we’re very thankful for the members’ understanding. We’re also proud of them as well. For their two year anniversary, we’re planning to present them with the latest cell phones from the market.”
So the girls will get cell phones soon. ^_^

Random: Kim Bo Kyung live performance

This was probably more exciting to me than anyone else, but there's finally a live perf of Kim Bo Kyung singing Haru Haru. I had been searching all over before with no luck...

She has such a gorgeous voice... It's really amazing how powerful and emotional she sounds, and even though she's live on a stage, she still sounds wonderful. I think all singers should be this good on stage. ^_^

It's very... Interesting. I'm still not quite entirely sure what it's about, since I've only seen the first 2 episodes, but I hope it will start to make sense as I watch farther in. There's 11 episodes now, right? The only reason I wanted to watch it was because IU is starring in it... But, now that I'm actually watching, the guys that are starring it it are really cute, too. Especially Taecyeon. ^_^

Sick!

I'm so sorry I disappeared for 2 days! I caught the stomach flu and I couldn't even get out of bed... But I'm feeling better now, so I'll pick up posting again. I hope that I didn't cause you any trouble or disappointment.

Ha ha ha. I won't comment much. I just wanted to share this video... I mean, not because I like it. Cause I don't. But, it's popular right now. They're just one of those groups, you know? (ha ha U-Know? XD) JUST KIDDING. Anyway, I think this is a pretty ridiculous song and video. My twin sister cracks me up because she always  randomly bursts out saying "KEEP YOUR HEAD DOWN." (AND SHE DOES IT SO PERFECTLY TOO! EXACTLY LIKE THE REAL SONG!!) But don't get me wrong. She probably likes the song even less then I do. XD

"Earlier, allkpop reported that MBLAQ’s Mir had sustained an injury to his lower back while recording for a show. It’s just been revealed that the injury was severe enough to require surgery.
A representative of his company, J. Tune Camp, stated: 'On the 7th, Mir visited the hospital after recording for SBS’s “Star King” after feeling constant pains in his lower back. He was told by the doctors that he had spinal disc herniation.'
They continued, 'On the 9th, he received surgery at a hospital in Kangnam and is now recovering.'
Relieving anxious fans, the representative assured, 'The surgery went well but we have to wait on his condition. …Requiring immediate rest, this also complicates MBLAQ’s current promotions.'

K-Pop News: IU releasing repackage "REAL+"

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! That makes me really happy! On February 17th, IU will be releasing a repackage of her mini album "Real", entitled "REAL+" and it will have 3 new songs!
Quoting the article, "Her representatives stated, “This album will be continuing IU’s musical direction, but with an added spectrum. Fans will be able to hear an analog style and an overall deeper musical quality.”
And pre-orders will start February 10th. ANYBODY ELSE SUPER HYPE? CAUSE I KNOW I SURE AM. ^_^

Valentine's day is coming up and according to a survey, women chose IU's "Good Day" as the number one song they would want to sing if they confessed. 45% of the women surveyed also said they would want to borrow IU's voice when confessing, because "her incredible yet cute vocals give her a charming voice."
What song would you sing if you were confessing?
If I had the chance, I might just sing "Good Day" to Niel, since I sing that song pretty well (not that I'm bragging). ^_^

Apparently, J-Rock band Alice Nine's guitarist Hiroto listens to F.T Island! He found F.T Island's Hongki on twitter and wrote him a message in Korean.
“안녕하세요!!!!! 일본의 밴드 Alice Nine의 Guitar입니다. FOLLOW했어요. FT Island의 곡이 좋아해요~ / Hello!!! It’s the guitarist from the Japanese band Alice Nine. I followed you. I like FT Island’s songs~”

Music Video of the Day: "Wanna Be Your Love" by F.CUZ

I love F.CUZ. Just throwing that out there. I found them... Probably around the time they released "Gorgeous". It's a great album, btw. This is one the songs they made a MV for and I think this easily my favorite of all of their songs. I love the many styles they can pull off, looking at "No One", or "Midnight Sun", or "Jiggy", but this song is just... Soooooooooooo cute!!! Everytime I hear it, it makes me smile and I get really happy. ^_^
The magnae of the group, Yejun, has to be the cutest thing ever, too. He's absolutely adorable!!! >v<
If you like this song, you should definitely listen to their other music. Though, I won't suggest any songs in particular because I love all of their songs. XD

Random: Kimi ni Todoke

 

Kimi ni Todoke is a popular anime in Japan and I've been watching since around the 6th episode of the first season. I've literally watched each episode as it was aired. And now, there is finally a 2nd season. BUT GODDAMMIT. It makes me sooooooooooo mad!!

So, the show is about a girl named Kuronuma Sawako, who's had trouble fitting in with her classmates because she's really creepy. They call her "Sadako" because she looks like the girl from the movie "The Ring." But all that starts to change when the most popular boy in her school, Kazehaya Shota, becomes her friend.

Then she starts to be more open and she gains more and more friends and she begins to realize that she is in love with Kazehaya. And of course, as the viewer, we know that Kazehaya is also OBVIOUSLY in love with her.

But in the first 25 episodes of the show, the entire first season, not much happened between them. They were just really close friends. Now, in the 2nd season, EVEN LESS has happened, and if anything, they've become farther and farther apart! Things keep happening with their relationship and now that Sawako has realized that she loves Kazehaya, she's all awkward around him! He thinks she doesn't like him... and NO THANKS to that DUMBASS Kento who keeps butting in. MY GOD, I FREAKING HATE KENTO. I WISH HE WOULD GO THROW HIMSELF OFF A CLIFF, BECAUSE THEN EVERYONE WOULD BE BETTER OFF. *coughcough* Anyway, I really hope something good happens soon. I used to like watching this show because Kazehaya and Sawako were just about the cutest thing ever, but now, almost every episode makes me ball my eyes out and then shout obscenities.
If you're looking for a cute romance anime, you should definitely watch Kimi ni Todoke, but be prepared to cry and get really pissed, and constantly "aw" at the cuteness of it all. Overall, it's great show, but Kazehaya and Sawako just need to FREAKING GET TOGETHER ALREADY.

So, I'm already SUPER hyped for BIG BANG's comeback album. I mean, they've been saying they were going to release it since, what... September or October last year? At least they FINALLY have a set date: February 24th. OH, I'm just so excited!! According to allkpop.com, the boys will be filming in America for the MVs for their comeback. That's kinda cool, isn't it? Let's hope that the filming will go fast and we can have a preview of the album soon~

K-Pop News: Mir hurt?

Poor Mir! It seems that MBLAQ's Mir has sustained a spinal injury (thankfully, a minor one)!
"J. Tune Entertainment officially made an announcement through Money Today Star News on February 8th, stating, 'Mir has been hospitalized on the 7th due to lower back pain. For the time being, he will be resting. Mir’s lower back has not been in good shape and because of the packed filming schedules, his condition got worse. He needs to receive physical therapy daily in order to get better'."
Poor boy... I hope he gets better soon. :(
It looks like MBLAQ will continue promoting their album as 4 members until he gets better. Anyone else excited about their repackage album that's supposed to be released at the end of this month? I AM!!
Anyway, wishing a speedy recovery to Mir~ MBLAQ and Mir fighting!! >.<

Slow down?

Ha ha, looking at other blogs, it makes me feel a bit self conscious... I think I talk about myself way too much. Do you think so? You probably want more music videos and news stuff and less of me talking about my life. Well, the good news is, I think I'm gonna start talking less about me and more about the K-Pop (well, everything will still be opinionated, I just won't be talking about my life as much). I think I'll stick to smaller and briefer posts when I do talk about me, though, just cause I do wanna stay a part of this blog. It is, after all, my  blog... XD

I love almost all of the songs (especially the 2 titles songs, "VVIP" and this one, the one featuring IU, cause I love IU, and the song "White Love"~
Seungri's voice is sometimes hard to listen to, because it's so nasal (OMG like in the outro on the mini album "In My World"), but once you get used to it, it doesn't really bug you that much, and his songs are so catchy that it just makes you want to like his voice. ^_^

I. FREAKING. LOVE. THIS. SONG. MBLAQ is so awesome. Not only is this song ridiculously catchy, but the dancing is epic and they all look super hot (especially G.O). Actually, I'm posting this to celebrate Joon's birthday, which is today~ happy birthday Joon!! ^_^
I can't wait for the BLAQ Style repackage at the end of this month. If you haven't listened to the CD, DO IT. You are TOTALLY missing out.

K-Pop News: Niel's mistake

(ha ha... TEEN TOP is gang beating Niel.)
This might be accountable for me being uptight today... I'm not sure why, but I need something to blame. I think it's because I love Niel so much and I have a very strong feeling of empathy... Watching someone, anyone, make a mistake is almost like watching myself make a mistake... It's very hard for me. But, everyone makes mistakes. No one is perfect. I know all too well what it's like getting on stage and thinking you're completely prepared, but then you end up making a mistake... Maybe not on same scale as Niel, but I'm just saying. It's a rather painful experience, but it makes you want to try harder so that next time, you don't mess up, so while mistakes are embarrassing, they do help us grow, so they're necessary in life.
 Ha ha. I haven't even actually explained this mistake, yet... During a performance of Supa Luv, Niel accidentally did the wrong choreography. I think it's quite adorable. Niel's mistake, I mean (even if it makes my heart hurt). His face in the video... It's kind of priceless. You can tell he's thinking, "Oh crap!"

Today...

Well, I have to say that today was... Interesting. My hair didn't turn out the great. You can't really see the blue... But I mean, I think it looks okay, especially the dark brown, but it's kind of embarrassing because the part that is blue... People think that I missed a spot when dying the dark brown. They think it was a mistake... >.<*
But, for the first time in a while, I really like the way my hair is styled. It really looks like Niel's today~
And I even tried to dress TEEN TOP-esque today. I wore a leather jacket and white skinny jeans and hip hop sneakers! ^_^ (but my mom says I look goth? O.O)


Anyway, I kind of feel like I've been on edge all of today... I'm not quite sure why... Maybe it was waking up and reading that article? (what article, you ask? I'll post it in a bit...) I don't know. And I had quite a mishap at lunch... I was complaining about my "friend", Shawn, before, right? Well, things just got even worse with him. For absolutely no reason, at lunch today, he picked up my plastic reusable water, walked over to a thrash can and threw it in and then stormed away! I was completely shocked! So he's been treating me like shit the past couple of weeks, but to do something like that... I think he's reached a whole new level of idiocy. Thankfully, I talked to the policeman in the lunchroom, who convinced Shawn to get my water bottle out of the trashcan... But I'm making it a point to BAN Shawn from ever sitting at my lunch table EVER again... >.<
He may be having family issues or whatever, but that doesn't mean he can mistreat people.

On a better side, me and my twin sister combined forces and finished two days of math homework today! Hopefully that means we won't have any homework tomorrow. ^_^
And having no math homework ALWAYS makes a day 10 times better. But, maybe tomorrow will be a good day. I have a health test, so I probably won't have to do much work in that class, and my annoying science teacher is gone right now, so I have a sub... We'll see. I'll tell you about it tomorrow.

I guess, for the most part, that's all for today. I'm gonna try to complain less from now on. I don't like complaining that much... So look forward to it!

Random video of the Day: Strong Heart

I found this song on iTunes and before that, I had never heard of it. BUT DAMN. It's just so awesome! It's catchy and super nice to listen to. And I love all the words and phrases. Though the song is repetitive, it definitely works in its favor. Donghae's voice is perfect for it, too (not to mention, he's pretty darn attractive). The video is kind of adorable. I love their outfits and Leeteuk, Shindong, and Eunhyuk are really funny. ^_^
Makes you want to watch the show, right?

Music Video of the Day: "As a Man" by Gummy

I didn't really like this song much until I saw the music video. It made me cry. ;_; But only because it's so happy! I'm so used to watching videos that make me cry because they are ridiculously sad, so I was surprised (and overjoyed) when this one ended happy. I think this song is reeeeallly pretty. Gummy has an interesting voice, but it's easily likable. Again, I've heard a couple of her songs because both of my sisters love her.

Dreams

Last night, I had a very good dream. It's weird, because I don't tend to dream about the things I love, but my dream was about TEEN TOP. They were coming to America, for some reason or another... And they were going to have an interview at a cafe... And I just happened to be at that cafe! When they arrived, I got to go out and welcome them inside, and then, when we were inside, they introduced themselves to me. Wouldn't that be every fangirl's dream? It was strange... While I was dreaming, it felt so real... And then, when I woke up, I can't stop wishing it was real. Maybe some day I will actually get to meet TEEN TOP? I really hope so... >.<

Hair dye

So, like I said, I'm dying my hair soon. And by soon, I mean tomorrow. I can't wait! I'm very excited! Because, like I said, Im dying it like C.A.P, the leader of TEEN TOP. And what does he look like?

So, I already have the blue dye for the streak, but the problem I have is that I can't decide whether I should dye my hair black, like exactly how it is in the picture, or if I should dye it dark brown... Because, if I do black and I don't like it, I won't be able it change it for a while... But, I mean, I do want to dye it exactly like his... So I don't know what to do. >.<
My hair will be awesome once it's dyed though. Because it's cut like Niel's and dyed like C.A.P's. I'll be TEEN TOP-licious. ^_^

My Life 3

Not much to talk about here... My cold just seems to be getting worse and worse... It kind of sucks. My throat hurts and my nose is so stuffed up... And I've been blowing my nose so much that it's all rough and sore. Why can't I just never get sick ever again? That would be lovely...
Ha ha... But whenever I cough, I think of Niel.

4:45-5:00 The part where Niel coughs on Ricky and says "ANGI! (flu)" He's so cute and he looks so happy, even though he's making his friends sick. ♥

K-Pop News: B2ST debuting in Japan

Oh dear. I'm becoming biased... This might be a problem... I remember back when I used to listen to Japanese music and loved finding Korean artists that sang in Japanese, because Korean singers had such unusual tone qualities to their voices... Back then, I couldn't listen to K-Pop itself because I couldn't stand the Korean language... And it always bugged me that artists like F.T Island and Big Bang would have people saying "I can't wait for their comeback." because I thought that their Japanese music was just as great as their Korean music. (in F.T Island's case, better ^_^") But now, when I see articles about artists debuting in Japan, I shudder on the inside. For some reason, now that I'm so used to Korean, Korean artists singing in Japanese just seems... Odd. And sometimes, terrible. Take Kara for example. And 4minute. This kind of worries me...

And now I see that B2ST is debuting in Japan? They are releasing Japanese songs? Oh dear. Oh dear.

It just sounds so... Awkward. Shock was perfect in Korean... You really don't need to take it and put in Japanese. Really. Sigh... Well,I guess I'll just have to wait and find out how the whole song sounds...

That reminds me... Didn't I see something about TEEN TOP debuting in Japan as well? *facepalm*

Music Video of the Day: "Well Done" by Navi

I'm not a fan of the tune of this song, but Navi has a beautiful voice and there are sections of this song that I really like. I love how the chorus ends and the "Hello, hello, hello, hello, don't cry..." part is really nice. Actually, I've heard many of Navi's songs from her new album, and I guess they're all pretty good. Both of my sisters love Navi, so... ^_^ Anyway, Navi's style seems different from the typical K-Pop artist's, so if you're looking for something new, you should give her a listen.

Tee hee~ (B2ST & TEEN TOP obsession time)

I've been promising some obsessing over B2ST and TEEN TOP, haven't I? Well, that's just what this post is for! I have a couple of ADORABLE videos I've been meaning to share and some pictures that made me squeal~~
It's funny... The reasons behind how I started listening to both B2ST and TEEN TOP, I mean.
B2ST started with this parody music video I watched on youtube of their song Beautiful (which, by the way, might just be my favorite of their songs). It was a girl and a group of her friends (I'm still not sure how the their parody actually pertained to the real video, but, you know...) and after watching it, I couldn't get that song out of my head.

I mean, my sister had already been listening to them for a little, but it's safe to say, that after I started listening to them, I became COMPLETELY obsessed. XD (much more than she did) I now have all of their songs and I love every single one of them. (Okay, I'm lying. There's like, maybe 2 songs I don't really like all that much, but... You know... that's just 2 songs.)
My reason for liking TEEN TOP may not be as comical, but it's just as random. Again, I was on youtube and I came upon this K-Pop mash-up from 2010. Me and my sister, knowing less than half of the songs in it, were tempted to look the rest up and watch the videos they were from.

I mean, let me tell you, the mash-up (and the first one from 2010) are AMAZING. Seriously epic. Well, anyway, TEEN TOP's Clap was one of the songs featured in the mash-up, so when we looked it up, me and my twin sister were like, "Hey. They're kind of hot."
We downloaded the single, but I didn;t really listen to it all that much. Keep in mind, this was around the time when Supa Luv was going to be released. I was on an Asian music video site, and I saw that the music video had been released, so I watched it... And I IMMEDIATELY fell in love. That music video is SO. FREAKING. HOT. Not even kidding. XD
So, there you have it. My obsessions have only gotten worse... I've taken to watching random adorable videos of TEEN TOP for one... Take this, foe example.

And how about this?

This is a clip from the TV show "Making the Artist". I love their English! L.Joe's "Why do you want to know that?" is brilliant!! And Niel is so cute when he says, "I am from is... Korea!" Oh, I just love them!!! >v<

And it's quite addicting just looking up live performances for both B2ST and TEEN TOP. I've spent entire days just watching them... And since there are basically only perfs of Supa Luv and Clap for TEEN TOP, I'll watch, like, 5 different perfs of Supa Luv and then, like 4 of Clap in a row. XD

Sorry for posting so many videos... It's quite addicting. Heh heh... And knowing that probably no one will watch them is sad...

And for B2ST perfs, I watched, like... 20 of Beautiful. XD

Ha ha. Yoseob is just the so cute~~ I love that his voice sounds just as perfect live as it does in recordings. ^_^

Okay, I'm done. Really, I swear. I'm sorry. I'm just having so much fun... XD
And you know, you can really tell you're obsessed with someone when you become really protective of them... And when other people say that they love them, you just wanna jump them and beat them up. So, in the past 2 days, I've seen 2 other people who "love" Niel, and both times, I was like, "... No! My Niel!" XD Which, I know is silly, isn't it? But I mean, I do love Niel... So... I even got my hair cut like his! And I'm only 2 days younger than him! His birthday is August 16th 1994 and mine is August 18th 1994! So there! We're close~
Meh... Or, you know, that's what I like thinking...

It's also really fun to look at pictures of TEEN TOP and B2ST. I found some suuuper cute ones. And some ridiculously hilarious ones. XD.

Music Video of the Day: "Haru Haru (Day by Day)" by Kim Bo Kyung

This song is absolutely GORGEOUS! Kim Bo Kyung's husky and powerful voice is so moving and emotional. She really grabs you with the intenseness of the chorus, and I love how everything slows down at the end when she sings "la la la la, I let you go..."
I'm in love with this song, as well as every song on her album release, "the FIRST DAY". If you haven't heard her before, I definitely suggest you give her a listen. My favorite songs on the release are "Haru Haru", "Brand New Day", and "About You."

I was on allkpop.com earlier and I found this article... I mean, I'm not a fan of f(x), and I know nothing about Luna, but I can't help but think that the people who are leaving comments are inconsiderate and rude... She is probably trying her best, so to be told that she lacks "a sense of understanding for music", especially when music and singing are her life... Isn't that quite harsh? I think that her crying is just fine. Crying is a way to deal with your feelings, and most of the time, you feel a lot better after you cry. People should stop bashing her and tell her that it's okay. They should be telling her to keep doing her best and that no matter what, they support her. Isn't that a fan's duty?
 Well, I guess that may just be my opinion...

My Life 2

So, the fact that today was Friday definitely made it a better day. Of course, because now it's the weekend. ^_^

This morning, one of my friends saved me! She brought her hair straightener to school so I was able to straighten my hair before going to class! I was so worried when I was going to sleep last night because I kept thinking that my hair would look so terrible when I woke up, (since, if you don't remember, my own hair straightener happened to break the other morning...) but she texted me and said that she could lend me her straightener. It was super amazing and it made me really happy! o(≧∀≦)o

I think I want to take a moment to complain here... See, I have this friend. Well, not really friend. I definitely would not call him my friend, but I think he wants to pretend we are friends. Anyway, I reeeeeaallly hate him... He says these mean things to hurt people and he's so completely stupid... I often wonder how it is I can even hang around him. Yesterday, he insulted me by saying I "have no taste in music" and that I "have an Asian fetish". I was utterly shocked and stung by his words... How dare he say that to me? It's one thing to insult those who you are not close to... But to so blatantly attack one who you consider a friend? Now, that is idiocy. What I just don't understand, too, is that I know he is capable of being a good person. He knows how to cheer people up when they are sad and he does do the occasional nice thing... So why does he constantly make a fool of himself by being such an ass? He claims he's trying to be a better person, but the result of his "trying" is far from obvious. I can't even count the number of awful things he has said and done to me. And can you believe his nerve! Today, he threw a skittle down my shirt! Just because I was wearing a v-neck shirt! And then he ate the skittle, with the comment, "Your boobs taste funny." I was so absolutely insulted by his words!! "He has no tact," as one of my real friends told me. He doesn't know when to stop talking because he is making a fool of himself or harming someone with his words. I hope that he can change someday... That, or he'll just leave me alone. >.<*


Now, off of that horrendous topic, today, at school, I think there was a bomb threat? There was an urgent announcement this morning on the loud speaker for teachers to check their emails for an email from the principal. I didn't pay much attention to it, but then, I noticed throughout the day, that no teacher was allowed to let students leave to  go to the bathroom during class. That got me wondering, and then, in my third hour, the girls at my table were talking about it. They said that school received a bomb threat or something... But I don't really know the whole story. Maybe someone left a threatening note in one of the bathrooms? Another strange occurrence was during lunch. When it was nearing the end of lunch, the lights in the cafeteria almost all went off. One of the girls in my third hour claims that the clocks were going crazy, too. That the pointers were spinning around like crazy. Who knows what actually happened. :/

For a more random topic, I was watching my twin sister play Pokemon yesterday. She was scrolling through her bag and when she passed the item "Thunderstone", I immediately thought of Thunder from MBLAQ. But... If that stone really was related to Thunder... What would it be used for? It's a magical stone that turns you into Thunder from MBLAQ! The Magical Thunder stone! Yeah, sorry... I can be kind of random. When I told my twin sister that, she laughed and said there should be stones for all the members of MBLAQ. Like a magical Joon stone, and a magical Mir stone, and a magical G.O(minus the facial hair) stone. I don't know about you guys, but I think that, when G.O did have facial hair, it was a MAJOR turn off. XD
He's sooooooooooo much hotter without it. G.O fighting!

 And the last thing on my agenda for this blog post is about getting songs stuck in your head. So, there's this song "Because of You" by F.CUZ. I had taken it off my iPod for some reason or another, but then I saw it and put it back on. I've only heard it probably once or twice, and I can honestly say that I can't remember how it goes. Or rather, couldn't... Last night, I woke up in the middle of the night. And surprisingly enough, that song was stuck in my head. I was shocked because I remembered yesterday trying to remember how it went to sing it for my twin sister and I had absolutely no idea... But here I was, waking up in the middle of the night and remembering the exact tune of the song... That's a really strange feeling, isn't it? And even weirder, I now have no trouble remembering how that song goes. It's like magic? XD

Well, I guess that's all for this post. Sorry I tend to talk so much... I'll make it up by posting some more cute videos and maybe some more news. Thanks for reading~~

Vietnamese B2ST cover?

I was scrolling around some K-Pop news earlier and an article titled "Was B2ST's 'Shock' plagiarized?" caught my eye. I mean, I'm a HUGE fan of B2St, so to see that, I was a little worried... But after reading the article and watching the video, I was relieved to find out it was just a cover... And mind you, a pretty hilarious cover. Not saying it's bad, but it's just so... Unintentionally funny. Check it out:

I think they have problems with saying 'c's... Ha ha. And the one member's "I'm waiting you you" is so up front... And I swear, at the end of the chorus, it definitely sounds like they are saying "Tonight I suck." XD

EPIC WIN (I love TEEN TOP)

Okay, this just about made my life. TEEN TOP is sooooooooo adorable!!! I LOVE the song Shy Boy and watching them perform is just absolutely AMAZING!!! They dance and sing it so well! And their outfits are so cute~~ ^_^ I love how you can tell they're completely enjoying themselves. C.A.P's little smiles throughout are super cute. And it's obvious that Niel is trying so hard not to smile. XD
I can definitely say that this just made me INFINITELY happy. I'm a happy little fan girl~~ (and I love Niel's pink shirt. Actually, I just love Niel. ♥)

K-Pop News: Plagiarism

If you keep up with news in the K-Pop world then you have probably seen the articles about MBLAQ's song "Oh Yeah" being plagiarized by an Ecuadorian artist. If you haven't here's the run-down:

"A performance video from Ecuadorian artist Andrea Bucaram has recently become a hot issue, due to the striking similarities between her song, “Oh Yeah“, and MBLAQ’s debut song (of the same name).
The repetition of the words 'Oh yeah' in the chorus, the tweaked melody, and the familiar beats all point to the conclusion that this artist plagiarized the song from MBLAQ. If those points weren’t enough for skeptics, she also titled the song, 'Oh Yeah'.
MBLAQ’s manager June tweeted a link to the video while stating '…this isn’t even plagiarism….they straight up copied the song. We will deal with this after we are sure about the situation. If anyone knows information about the singer in the video, give us a mention/message.'
Member G.O retweeted the link, and couldn’t conceal how flabbergasted the video made him. 'wow….she copied the song really well.'"

Furthermore, Andrea Bucaram tried to cover up the whole event by saying that the song was a cover and that she was a fan of MBLAQ. Too bad for her, she  couldn't even get her information straight and, in an interview, she stated that "MBLAQ had existed for 6 years".

Personally, I think this whole situation is rather iffy. If she did indeed intend the song to be a cover, then why was she promoting it as her own song? But, if it was actually a cover, can she still be charged with plagiarism because she was promoting it?
Whatever is going, I hope it's all sorted out, and, hopefully, it will be in MBLAQ's favor.

Music Video of The Day: "Not Alone" by Park Jung Min

I just started listening to this song a couple of days ago, but I already love it. The dramatic strings at the beginning of the song and Park Jung Min's smooth, deep vocals really make this song amazing. Plus, the lyrics are refreshing and fit great with Jung Min's style of singing. I think this is a nice change of pace from the typical K-Pop song. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do~

My Life

My second day having a blog... Good afternoon everyone! How was your day? Mine was okay... Well, I guess it was okay. I didn't get that much homework (thank goodness!), but I caught a cold again. so I've been sniffling and coughing ALL OVER the place. My cold is so bad that it took me AGES to fall asleep last night, too. I lay awake for more than an hour because I kept having to cough every 5 seconds... I feel I got sick again, even though I didn't even fully recover from the last cold I had... Maybe all the stress I'm under is weakening my immune system... >.<

Back on the topics of school, I just wanna say, I HATE SCHOOL. It's weird, because I remember not hating school this much last year... I remember thinking that I didn't mind getting up and  going to school... But oh yeah. That was because I had good classes and awesome teachers... And I actually used to have classes with my friends. It's really hard to get through a class when you're surrounded by people who aren't your friends. And on top of that, when you have horrible teachers...
Let me just say that my science teacher SUCKS. She doesn't even actually teach... I mean, you know, sometimes teachers are bad at teaching, but at least they try... But my science teacher doesn't even try. She sets the students off on their own saying, "Here's some worksheets. Figure them out." Ever since the beginning of the trimester 6 weeks ago, nearly 7, I feel like I haven't learned a thing in her class.
Furthermore, she's intimidating. She's obnoxious and rude and she loves picking on people. I feel like I can't say anything in her class, for fear she'll make fun of me or turn me down... It's really being in her class. I can't WAIT for the trimester to end... Which will be another 6 weeks... T^T

OH. One thing that sucked big time today was my hair straightener breaking. It was an odd occurrence... This morning, me and my twin sister were using it. We both straightened our hair, like we do literally every day, and then we turned it off and went to eat breakfast. After we ate breakfast, we went back into he bathroom to brush our teeth, and I saw that I hadn't thoroughly straightened my bangs, so they looked kind of funny, so I turned the straightener back on... But strangely enough, it would blink for a couple of minutes and then turn straight off. And if I felt the part that was supposed to heat up, it hadn't even heated up in the slightest... I'm not sure what happened, but it's kind of making me panic. Cause, like I said, we use that thing EVERY DAY. And I use every time after I shower. And I'm supposed to shower today... My hair would be sticking out all over the place if I couldn't straighten it... I would look like complete crap... but what can I do? I haven't showered since... Oh, this will sound terrible.. .Since Monday. And it's Thursday. YUCK. >.<"

I guess, on a better note, at least it's Friday. Maybe something nice will happen tomorrow that I can tell you all about. I'll post more in bit with some K-Pop news and vids, so stay tuned~
